Stress

Stress?

I got plenty right now, both home & work.

Sorry guys if I can’t visit and reply your comments & messages in my tag board right away, cause as I said over and over I’m still busy right now specially at work. As always your visits, your messages and your time are truly appreciate it.

Anyhow, Tuesday, I got home really tired so I went to bed early like around 7 and didn’t get up not ‘til 6:40 in the morning Wednesday. I feel good on my way to work, stopped by at the grocery picked up 2 dozens of donuts for couple of people’s birthdays at work. Oh my- there’s lots of goodies already when I put the donuts on the table. Got my coffee to start my day and start munching whatever on the table. With my mistake didn’t watched what I ate and got sick from it. It did ruin my day and went home not feeling good and went straight to bed.

Here’s what I ate that made me sick:
8 – Brownies
3 Pie sliced of quiche
1 big sliced of Burnt Sugar Candy Bar Cake - my co-worker bake it from scratch. He did a good job, it was really yummy.
2 small bowls of pasta salad
1 donut
1 bagel

First time I got sugared up and it’s not even funny! Plus I got drunk from 8 – 16.9 fl. Oz. bottles of water. hehehe…I think I drank too much of water.

Today Thursday, all I had 2 cups of coffee, 1 bagel, 1 cracker and water. I just can’t eat anything after what I ate from yesterday. Well, I promise to myself it will never happen again.

a Friend email this to me: Stress

A lecturer, when explaining stress management to an audience, raised a glass of water and asked,
“How heavy is this glass of water?”
Answers called out ranged from 20g to 500g.
The lecturer replied, “The absolute weight doesn’t matter. It depends on how long you try to hold it.
If I hold it for a minute, that’s not a problem.
If I hold it for an hour, I’ll have an ache in my right arm.
If I hold it for a day, you’ll have to call an ambulance.
In each case, it’s the same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes.”
He continued, “And that’s the way it is with the stress management.
If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later, as the burden becomes increasingly heavy, we won’t be able to carry on.”
“As with the glass of water, you have to put it down for a while and rest before holding it again. When we’re refreshed, we can carry on with the burden.”
“So, before you return home tonight, put the burden of work down.
Don’t carry it home.
You can pick it up tomorrow.
Whatever burdens you’re carrying now, let them down for a moment if you can.”
So, my friend, Put down anything that maybe a burden to you right now.
Don’t pick it up again until after you’ve rested a while.

Here are some great ways of dealing with the burdens of life:
>>Accept that some days you’re the pigeon, and some days you’re the statue.
>>Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them.
>>Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.
>>Drive carefully. It’s not only cars that can be recalled by their maker.
>>If you can’t be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.
>>If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
>>It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply be kind to others.
>>Never put both feet in your mouth at the same time, because then you won’t have a leg to stand on.
>>Nobody cares if you can’t dance well. Just get up and dance.
>>Since it’s the early worm that gets eaten by the bird, sleep late.
>>The second mouse gets the cheese.
>>When everything’s coming your way, you’re in the wrong lane.
>>Birthdays are good for you. The more you have, the longer you live.
>>You may be only one person in the world, but you may also be the world to one person.
>>Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.
>>We could learn a lot from crayons… Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.
>>A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.

Happy Friday everyone and have a great weekend.

Also, Happy 4th of July!

Have a safe one!.

Hormones…Hillarious!

Joke time muna!

My friend email this to me, thought of sharing to you all. Just so you know guys I don’t have a mood ring, so hubby don’t get any a red mark on his forehead. :-)

The Hormone Hostage knows that there are days in the month when all a man has to do is open his mouth and he takes his very life into his own hands. This is a handy guide that should be as common as a driver’s license in the wallet of every husband, boyfriend, or significant other.

Pass this onto all of your hormonal friends…and those who might need a good laugh… or men who need a warning.

And remember : Money talks…but chocolate sings.

Another thing…My husband, not happy with my mood swings, bought me a mood ring the other day so he would be able to monitor my moods. When I’m in a good mood, it turns green. When I’m in a bad mood, it leaves a big red mark on his forehead. Maybe next time he’ll buy me diamonds.

Here, have some chocolate.

Ate Nina welcome back! Nagkita pala kayo ni Prescy wow! Share some pictures Ate.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone and enjoy!
…Hugs to all…

Tube Tales

Posted by myDailysunset | Beauty, Tips | Sunday 18 June 2006 11:49 pm

When I was a MK b-consultant I always share this to my costumers, they found it very interesting about what kind of person they are. Hope you guys too … wink***

Admiration, inspiration, and the secret shape of your Lipstick.

Ahh …there’s nothing quite as inspiring as a tube of lipstick. Since the time we were little. lipstick has always fascinated, captivated and amused us. Whether we were playing dress-up, wearing it on the sly or making an entrance in our fave color, that little of temping color has always played an important role in our lives.

So what does it all mean? Just turn to the tubes. Research shows that the actual curve of your Rich Red, the flatness of your Mocha Freeze or the slant of your Black Raspberry says a lot about what kind of person you are. We all know that color is indicative of our personality or mood, but what about the shape? It could be more telling that you’ve ever imagined. So grab of tubes and start comparing. You’ll be surprised what your lipstick reveals.

Smooth Mover - You’re the epitone of calm, swirling and twirling your tube as you use it. Your easy-going nature, your penchant for peace and lovable personality make you a wonderful friend and an incomparable lifetime companion. Sure, you have surprises, but you save those for the people closest to you. They also get to enjoy your generous heart, your sweet smile and your calming effect. Lucky them.

Slanted View - Your’re one for order and perfection. That’s why your lipstick looks almost as good as a new tube. Its sharp edge expresses a true need for organization. And that’s a good thing! Along with your honesty, your focus and your schedules, you’re bound to be something great. People turn to you for advise — and you turn to simplicity for your happiness. Life without a mess is kind of nice, no?

Curves Ahead - Without a challenge, you’re bored! You press on your lipstick hard — a sign of your intense drive and passion for life. And your opinions might get you into trouble if you were’nt such a people person. In fact, the bigger the party, the better! You thrive on personal contact and activity. It’s what makes you happy and what makes you the fabulous person that you are. You avoid schedules, but you need them to stay on track … and out of stress. Let work go sometimes and enjoy yourself!

Lookin’ Sharp - Girl, there’s never a dull moment with you! By swirling the tip around as you use it, you creat the perfect point — kind of like the center of attention. You love adventure, you’re outgoing, and your’re pretty choosy about the company you keep. Maybe that’s why you’re more of an independent that most of your friends, but that’s okay! You like to choose what you’re going to do and when you’re going to do it. You may be opinionated, but you’re also impulsive. And that’s pretty hard to resist.

On The Level - There won’t be any funny business from you. You tell it just like your flat-topped lipstick. And even though you’re often shy, we know still waters run deep. And you thrive in challenging situations. But watch out! Your conservative tendencies may mean you have a high need for approval. Forget about everyone else, and remember that you’re a romantic and a dreamer underneath. As far as friends go, you’re true-blue. And there’s no bigger compliment.

My next post I will share with you all couple of my friends even myself the before and after make-over. So, abangan nyo po … double wink*!

Oh yeah- I forgot to share sa inyo ang surprise ni madame Prescy para kay Julie. Thanks so much my dear, we really appreciate it. You did a great job! Click this from Prescy.

ok dokie- haba nito … You guys have a wonderful week. Hugs & kisses to all!

Absolutely nothing new to say…still busy…

Sorry friends didn’t get a chance to reply your comments from my previous post but just so you know all you guys comments are trully appreciate it.

Lately, I have been taking a nap when I get home from work. After my 1 hour nap, I watch my 2 shows, Sa Piling Mo at Bituin Walang Ningning…hindi kompleto ang gabi kung hindi ko mapanood ang shows na ‘to. hehehe…Tapos ng show, i check my email at nagba-blog hop ng kunti. Sorry nga pala friends kung magbisita ako hindi ako ng leave ng message kasi nagmamadali para balik ng tulog.

Anyway, last Saturday we went to Tom’s niece graduation, it was my first time meeting her at 12 yrs. here in Michigan. She’s a great person and happy to meet her and her family. Napaiyak siya when Tom mentioned her dad. Pagkatapos ng graduation pumunta kami sa Mongolian Restaurant, not really fan with the restaurant but love thier dessert. Here’s some photos from the graduation 1st batch and second batch.

Before I forget, this weekend is Father’s Day. To my Tatay, my dad-in-law, to my husband and to all the Fathers out there…

Happy Father’s Day

Well, it’s another boring post…(I’ll have a good one next time…watch out for it! wink*)
