More Than A Day
As Thanksgiving Day rolls around,
It brings up some facts, quite profound.
We may think that we’re poor,
Feel like bums, insecure,
But in truth, our riches astound.
We have friends and family we love;
We have guidance from heaven above.
We have so much more
Than they sell in a store,
We’re wealthy, when push comes to shove.
So add up your blessings, I say;
Make Thanksgiving last more than a day.
Enjoy what you’ve got;
Realize it’s a lot,
And you’ll make all your cares go away.

Little Johnny
Joke time it’s the weekend.
Little Johnny was assigned a paper on childbirth and asked his mother, “How was I born?”
“The stork brought you to us.”
“Oh,” said Little Johnny.
“Well, how did you and daddy get born?” he asked.
“Oh, the stork brought us too.”
“So. . . how were grandpa and grandma born?”
“Well, darling, the stork brought them too,” said the mother.
The next day Little Johnny handed in his paper to the teacher. It read, “This report is impossible to write due to the fact that there hasn’t been a natural childbirth in my family for three generations.”
