Ancient Lifestyles
Last time, my friend shared to me that she went to the Negros Museum for a visit. She was told that once they had an exhibit about antique gold artifacts that were excavated among the caves in southern Negros Occidental—mostly from Kabankalan. They said that among the items that were displayed gold tools, coins, jewelry, accessories, and even male enhancement rings, would you believe that? Yup! They had some weird practices back then, too.
The people back then made their own gold coins and they were pretty crude. But the gold coins today are very sleek and beautifully crafted. She would like to buy gold coins, if not for investment at least for keepsakes that she can pass on to her children. They have the option to sell them for a higher price when the right time comes or they too can bequeath the gold coins to their own children and leave a legacy, much like the people of long ago did.
