Vitamins for Mom

I look forward to days when a friend goes back home to the PI. Sometimes I ask for favors to bring some things for my mom. No, I don’t give them expensive bags or clothes, what my mom usually asks are her regular maintenance of vitamin supplements for women.

She always reminds me to send her some because it’s very expensive over there. They’re usually imported from the US too but because they have to add the price of shipping and handling plus taxes, it sometimes cost twice the original price. So when someone I know goes home, I usually send her one or two.

Beauty Sleep

I have a terrible time trying to sleep. It usually takes me an hour or two for me to actually fall asleep. Sometimes if I really couldn’t sleep, I get up and sit in front of my computer and brows around the net to get some good deals. LOL

But, seriously, how I wish I could fall asleep earlier it would make life so much easier because then I won’t be so tired and restless all the time. I took some melatonin before to help me sleep but I stop because I sure did rely on it, which wasn’t good. Right now, I really need my beauty sleep so I’ll have lots of energy and I won’t screw up my job. I guess this is my last resort for now to take a sleeping pills to help me fall asleep.

Keeping fit

Almost everybody goes to the gym now, either for body building or sculpting or sometimes even for meditation. I think being fit and sculpted is actually becoming a trend nowadays. A lot of celebrities endorse fitness equipments, supplements and even trainers and fitness areas.

I guess I should be happy that we’re past the era of just using steroids to build up muscles. There are a lot of muscle building supplements readily available in the market today which promises basically the same thing. Some are even offered as meal replacements or smoothies. That’s probably what’s making it easy for a lot of people to get into shape, because at this day and age, keeping fit or losing weight is fun, and delicious too.
