Maternity Dresses and Blouses

Posted by myDailysunset | 2011 P-Online | Thursday 17 March 2011 3:34 am

When I go around the malls, I always see this new style of maternity clothes. Back when I was pregnant, I didn’t have a lot of choices. That was eons ago but still, its fun to see how maternity dresses and blouses nowadays look much simpler yet fun.

I actually have a friend who has a plus-sized sister who enjoys wearing maternity clothes because she finds them more comfortable. I don’t blame her. Seeing how these blouses and dresses are now, if I could get pregnant, I’m sure I too would enjoy shopping for them. I even see a lot of them on sale so that would be even more fun!

Beat the Flu

I am thankful I received Respiratory Guard’s lozenges some time back. It was really handy for me and my family these past couple of months. With our erratic weather, a lot people I know have resulted to having shots for the flu vaccines. At first they said they felt better, but then some of them started showing signs of getting the flu, maybe still because of the weather. Then I remembered I received Respiratory Guard’s package and I abandoned my plan for my family to get the flu vaccines shots.

I’ve been taking the lozenges for a couple of weeks, and even gave some to my husband and my daughter, and I believe we feel it’s battling the symptoms of the common cold or even the onset of cough. We’d start to sneeze and have itchy throat at the start then it just goes away. I personally think it’s because of the lozenges. Somehow it boosted or resistance.

I’m really glad we tried this product. With just 2 tablets a day, we haven’t really been sick for some time. My daughter doesn’t really like the taste though. It doesn’t taste like medicine at all, it’s actually slightly bitter because it’s made from Elderberry (which are also used for wines). Some research shows that Elderberry extract has been used to help improve health for centuries, some folk lore even back this claim up. Maybe it is really what’s working for us.

Perfect Gift

One of my friends invited us over for some drinks because her husband will be celebrating his birthday next week. I wonder what gift we should buy since I forgot to ask some info about the birthday celebrant.

My husband advised to just buy something men use every day. So I took a moment to look at our closet to get an idea and made up my mind. I asked my husband if buying mens ties would be okay and he said it is actually a great idea. It is something men use every day and can never run out of.

Comfy in Lights

If I had more time in my hands, I would love to maybe fix up our house. I just feel it needs a little more, hmm, warmth maybe? I want it to have that feeling that as soon one enters the door.

First thing I would love to change is the lighting. Instead of fluorescent or incandescent, I can use one of those lights from savoy house lighting. I would love to install a chandelier in the main room, and a fancy ceiling light in the dining area. I also love those Pendant lights so I’m sure I’ll find a place for them.

Missing my Baby

Posted by myDailysunset | 2011 P-Online | Sunday 6 March 2011 12:03 am

When I do get to go home early, I always look forward to a short walk to my place. I always walk past this school playground in our area and seeing the kids play takes away all my stress and uplifts my spirit.

I love seeing them innocently playing around, without a care in the world, knowing that they will always be protected by their parents. Maybe I’m feeling melancholy about all this because my daughter is so grown up now. Sometimes I miss my baby. I miss her depending on me for everything, but just sometimes. I am very proud of how independent she is, but I’m still a mother who sometimes misses her baby.
