I love holidays! Aside from having a festive attitude towards things, I also have an excuse to call my family back home. I love those moments when I can talk to my sisters, my mom and other relatives all at the same time via webcam but I hope we can upgrade our services to something more reliable like megameeting.com web conferencing services.

Anyway, since it is Easter, I will maybe bring it up with them as well as ask about their broadband connection. That’s one thing we need to look into too because even if they upgrade their web conferencing services, if they don’t have reliable broadband services then it will all be for nothing.

I was trying to print my resume to take wit me today but unfortunately there was a problem with the printer. No idea what’s going on. I think I need to request for a printer replacement at work.  The last few reports that I printed had uneven print tone and even leave some large black circles on the paper.  Even tech support tried to repair it but they too thought that maybe it was just too old already.  I believe that printer has been with the office for more than 6 years and have printed tons and tons of documents already.

Anyway, since I put up my request, I think they are looking at getting one of the latest models from epson printers.  They thought that since the old one was trusty enough to last this long, might as well stick to the same brand.

I was trying to look for a Hyundai Genesis Dealer to see if there are some deals that are available.  I started getting interested when I was lazily looking for possible cars to buy for Julie’s surprise “going to college” gift.

Ever since I read a review of the Hyundai genesis cars, I thought it could be an option for us to save up for.  For one thing, I know the parts and accessories won’t be a problem because the make and model is new in the market.  Finding parts and accessories sometimes pose a big problem when buying or when you’ve bought a second hand car especially if they’re no longer being manufactured.

Oh well, I know we still have some time to save up for it, I just know that having a Hyundai genesis sedan will be such a great joy for Julie.  She deserves a great car of all her accomplishments in school this year and the previous years.

I have always wondered how it is to live in an RV. One thing that I like about it is that it’s mobile. I guess it would be great for those that are really up for an adventure. I’m not, but still, the idea of living in one intrigue me so much.

At times though I also think about how the whole insurance thing on an RV works. Is it insured as a home or as a vehicle? It was just today that I tried to find out about it and there is such a thing as motorhome insurance. I think it’s a special kind of insurance but I am glad that there is one specifically for RVs.

American Idol is my favorite competition show. I have to admit that I enjoy some reality shows more than others, as the ones that display a specific talent are more fun to watch. It seems that every year the talent on American Idol is more abundant in the number of contestants, as well as the level of talent. The ultimate goal is to find the current years best singer, the American Idol. The judges, who have changed throughout the years, except for Randy Jackson who remains, critique contestant performances. The first three judges, Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell were the first judges on the show. The celebrities acting as judges this year are Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler. The final choice of the American Idol is chosen by the public. Interestingly, it is not always the winner of the show that goes on to become big in the music business. For example in season eight, Kris Allen won the American Idol spot, but Adam Lambert, who was the runner up went on to enjoy fame. Kris Allen is hardly heard of anymore. I enjoy watching this, my favorite competition show, every year on my expert satellite TV. The concept of the show was created by Simon Fuller, with the same idea of the British program, Pop Idol. According to the Nielson Ratings system, American Idol is the most watched TV show.
