Why download videos from youtube? There are several reasons. Either to watch the videos offline or to collect them. Watching offline generally results to the limitation of internet connection. If the video is instructional, you would want it to be played over and over again. Some do for the karaoke or videoke songs they can follow offline especially if they are practicing for a singing contest. Other do not want their movie-watching hampered by waiting for the next part to load.

How do you download the videos anyway? With Windows, you need a software to do it. With Linux, though, youtube video download is easy as playing it online once and get the copy from the browser cache.

When you work hard because you have a family and you are the breadwinner, you have to protect yourself because your family will not be provided for if you lose your capacity to earn.

That is why if you are into high-risk jobs like construction, you have to wear hard hats. If you have asthma, you have to wear a mask at the work site. Or if you are a welder, you need to wear miller welding helmets.

These are just some of the things that you can do to protect yourself. You also need to rest as much as you can and also to take vitamin and mineral supplements to keep you strong and to keep you away from sickness.

Being at home all day with the kids means I spend a lot of time thinking about what we’re all going to eat. I’ve got the time to make a great meal so why should I – there’s something to be said for taking your duties as a homemaker seriously and really working to feed your family well. I love my family to death but it’s been nice having a McLean internet provider at home so I can spend time on the chat rooms for other foodies like me – I’ve learned so much! Besides the endless technique tips I’ve gotten it’s the recipes that really make it worth it. There’s something to be said for having a go-to meal for every night of the week and that’s what I’ve been working on – making sure my family is well fed and it all falls within the budget my husband and I have set for food. Who would have guessed I’d be the gourmet of the household? He cooked for me on our very first date!

The Resilience of Filipinos

Many Filipino families were adversely affected because of the wrath of Typhoon Sendong. Many homes were flooded and some lost their lives.

Recently, a group of people where I belong met and instead of just crying our hearts out, we managed to laugh at some bloopers. Thank God for the innate resilience of Filipinos—even a tragedy can become funny at times.

Although this had been a great loss, it will not be long for some people to come up with something to make things lighter. It would not be a surprised if there will be funny tee shirts that will come out.

These are not really to make “fun” of the situation but it is more about finding a rainbow after a storm—literally.

Snow is starting to fall. For those who have never experienced the soft cold particles falling from the sky, the white surroundings looks mysterious…even magical.

But for those who live in countries where there is winter, snow can be bothersome and sometimes depressing. At the same, you have to keep safe always because it is dangerous to drive in the snow.

For one, you need snow tires, tire chains, and skid steer. Yep, driving on an icy road is a skill plus you need all the accessories and equipment. Accidents can happen and one needs to be really careful. So it is not magical at all. Drivers should really stay safe.

Getting Hospitalized on Christmas

A friend of mine related how she had to endure pain and getting hospitalized for her difficult pregnancy. Her first bout was early December. But the condition did not subside and so she went back for admission on the morning of December 24.

She recalls that on Christmas eve, when she was feeling a wee bit better, she got off her bed in order to walk the hospital halls. All she could see were the three nurses on duty at the station. Sometimes, they would push medical carts in order to bring foods or medicines to the patients’ rooms. It was eerie.

Well, she said those were the things that one endures for her child. She just had a little over than the others.

Sometimes, people can talk too fast at the same time that it is difficult to catch up what they are saying. This can be common in a crowded party where everyone is having so much fun drinking, talking, and catching up with each other.

Then it can also happen at home, especially if you have many kids.

To properly channel everything and to make everything clear, then maybe we need omnidirectional antennas so that we can pick up signals from all around us and hear them loud and clear.

The problem with this is that we will be able to eavesdrop on what is happening next door if we have this capacity!
